117 | Summary of activities
under the project "LET'S PLAY MATHEMATICS"...
As part of the
project "ERASMUS +" "I get to know the world - I get to know
myself", this school year we carried out the task "Let's
play mathematics". Due to the pandemic, the planned
activities were adapted to the conditions of distance
learning.
First, students in
grades 5 - 7 received proposals for math games in Microsoft
Teams to be printed and used at home. One of them is the
board game "DzielnikĂłwania" and the other is
"Roman-Arab dominoes". Willing students, together with
their siblings and parents, could have a good time,
consolidating at the same time math concepts and skills.
The eighth grade
students, on the other hand, participated in the "Crossword
marathon - repetition with entertainment" and every day
for six days they were solving another crossword concerning
the key issues required for the exam.
Online games were the
next step in the project implementation. Students from grades
5-8 earning points in the interactive game "Share it!" they
fought for the title of the class "Divisible Master of
Numbers". In this competition, the eighth-graders had to
overcome two stages of the competition: eliminations - the
game "Divide it!" and the finale is played by "Divider!".
The following are the
masters of divisibility in individual classes:
Filip Czech -
class 5a Karolina Kowalik - class 6a Milena Jachimowska - class 6b Miłosz Ćwik - grade 7a Gabrysia Jagniszczak - class 7b Ola Solecka - class 8
The last stage, which
took place after returning to school, was to make an original
mathematical game, eg board, dominoes, cards, etc. Students
could work in groups.
When assessing the
works, the committee had a big problem because all the games
were tricky, inventive and carefully made. Ultimately, it was
decided unanimously to award the main prize and three
distinctions.
First place and main
prize for Ola Gburyk from class 7a, while the
distinctions: Martyna Wisłocka from class 6b,
Karolina Kowalik and Milena Jagniszczak from class
6a, Patryk Szczepański from class 7b and Amelka
Wilman from the Kindergarten Department.
The project ended, but
the desire to play math games remained, so in math
lessons recently, students willingly, working in groups,
played, made dominoes, built lumps, consolidating knowledge,
developing imagination, and improving mathematical competences.

115 | EUROPEAN PICNIC -
summary of the project "I know the world - I know myself"...
For two years, our school
implemented the Erasmus + project "I get to know the world - I
get to know myself".
Its most important goal was to
develop students' interests, promote their talents, as well as
develop creativity and stimulate cognitive activity. In
cooperation with schools in Milizac (France), Gaggio Montano (Italy),
Puertollano (Spain) and Mazara del Vallo (Italy), we have
realized many interesting projects.
We invite you to view the works
of our school's students and students of partner schools on
the project website:
www.erasmusplus.sp6sanok.pl
The European Picnic was to
be the summary of the entire program. Unfortunately, due to
the pandemic, we could not implement it in the form it was
planned. However, we decided to prepare short films in
which individual classes present the countries of the
European Union.
VIVE LA FRANCE!
One of the partners of the Erasmus + project "I know the world - I get to know myself" is the French school Ecole Marcel Ayme in MILIZAC. We invite you to view the works made by students of this school, posted on the project website.
Students from class 1a prepared some of the most famous French songs as part of the "EUROPEAN PICNIC". It is remarkable that they sang them in the language of their peers from Milizac. They did a great job.
Congratulations on their great performance and we invite you to watch it ...
Time for second grade:
--- 2a prepared a beautiful POLISH DANCE.
--- 2b invites us to be friends in SUNNY SPAIN.
IN SUNNY GREECE...
Class 3a invites us to sunny Greece. Students prepared some interesting information about this country and a wonderful dance "ZORBA".
We invite you to watch their performance prepared as part of the "European Picnic" project
IN BALKAN CLIMATES...
After visiting sunny Gracia, we are still in the Balkans. This time, class 6b invites us to visit the countries of this region. The students perfectly conveyed the atmosphere of this part of Europe - its energy, openness and spontaneity.
We invite you to a wonderful performance of sixth-graders. Congratulations to them!
WHO DOESN'T KNOW ABBA AND BELGIAN...
We also invite you to watch the short performances of the seventh grade students. Together with them, we will visit other European countries.
The 7a class takes us to Sweden, reminding us of a song by ABBA. However, class 7b will tell us about Belgium and will dance a dance whose name is directly associated with this country...
BUONGIORNO...
The Erasmus+ project "I know the world - I know myself" is implemented in cooperation with schools in France and Spain, as well as two Italian schools. One of them, Instituto Comprensivo Giuseppe Grassa, is located in Mazara del Vallo in Sicily, and the other is in Gaggio Montano near Bologna. Both schools actively participated in the implementation of the project.
Thanks to virtual meetings, the teachers of our school got to know the organization and functioning of Italian schools as well as the active teaching methods used in these schools.
As part of the "European Picnic", the eighth graders of our school prepared an Italian fashion show and presented their knowledge about this country.
We invite you to watch their performances...

114 | Bieszczadzka adventure
class 2b...
Choosing a class trip - the
direction of the Bieszczady Mountains, we know that the
rest will be full of impressions and activity. Education
in this place is a combination of practice with accessible
knowledge.
Class 2b had an amazing
adventure in our wild Bieszczady. The class teacher, Mrs.
Sabina Kurasik, the geography teacher, Mrs. Marta
Wójcik, and Michałek's mother from our class,
looked after the safety of the children.
We started the day with a
previously arranged collection at Arena Sanok, where
our adventure actually began, when we headed towards the
village of Nowosiółki.
We were greeted by a guide who
almost immediately invited us to the KNIEJA Nature and
Hunting Museum. Students with great interest and
enthusiasm listened to interesting facts about the world of
animals, those living mainly in the Bieszczady Mountains,
but also those living in different parts of the world. The
children had a lot of smart questions, which proves their
interest in the subject, and they were answered for each of
them. They saw stuffed animals, victims of civilization, often
breathtaking, putting the words on their students' lips:
"We did not know that this animal is that size!".
After visiting the museum, richer
with new information and interesting facts, we were greeted by
an instructor who took us on a real survival, adventure of
a lifetime!
The children were trained to
use the GPSs they were given, compasses and maps.
We were divided into 2 groups - boys versus girls. And
we went into the forest... In search of treasure... And
in order to get to it, we had to overcome certain tasks, find
the necessary items to go through the next stages of the map.
In this game, cooperation, guessing puzzles and the ability to
move around in the field were important. It wasn't easy. We
did not walk along comfortably trodden paths. After all, we
were in the wild Bieszczady Mountains. Every now and then we
encountered tracks and traces of wild animals (bison, wild
boar, bears, deer, wolves, badgers, etc.). Adrenaline then
jumped to the max. However, our smile did not disappear, and
the adventure gained momentum and colors. At the end of our
difficult forest struggle, there was... a shovel, which we had
to dig up the treasure... The students, both the boys
'team and the girls' team, did a great job. Everyone breathed
a sigh of relief after achieving our goal. Then the instructor
talked very interestingly about the place we reached, namely
the abandoned village "Osada za Lasem". The children
learned what the ghost village was, who the Boykos
were, what the chyĹĽa is and where the bears
live. Returning to the place of arrival, the instructor kept
finding tracks and traces of animals, telling the children who
they belonged to, smuggling a lot of valuable information and
curiosities.
Oxygenated with the extremely
fresh and clean air of the Bieszczady Mountains, tired and
hungry, we lit a fire, frying delicious sausages, drinking
warm tea.
The children played together,
ran, swung and played hide and seek until it was time for a
pottery workshop. The students of class 2b liked this
attraction very much, it must be admitted that they created
small works of art. Our extremely nice and active time
came to an end and we had to go back to Sanok.
Ideally, as for the scheduled
minute, at 3 p.m. we managed to return to the school where the
happy children were picked up by their parents.
!!! Our trip
to the Bieszczady Mountains was financed under
ERASMUS + Program and the project "I know the world - I know
myself" implemented by our school !!!
112 | Literary and Art Competition about the reading of "The
Adventures of Tom Sawyer"...
The Literary and
Art Competition of the School Library, based on the
reading by M. Twain - "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer",
consisted in creating a lapbook, illustrations, works, great
motivation ... to read - here and now! From the adventures of
Tom Sawyer. The challenge was taken up by the students of
grade 6b: Eryk Kowalski, Kacper Strzałka, Bartek Wojdyła,
Milena Jachimowska, Martyna Wisłocka and Klaudia Mazur
from grade 5.
The model of a steam ship, precisely made of cardboard, is
very impressive - an important symbol of the times of action
and the content of the reading, by Eryk Kowalski. The
work took the first place.
Beautiful lapbooks, posters with crosswords, educational games
and messages on the content of the reading were also created.
The works will serve as teaching material for working with
reading.
The authors of the works received attractive book prizes and
albums, financed by the Erasmus + Program.
111 | FINAL of the Photo
Contest "Natural Peculiarities of Sanok and its Surroundings"...
The 3rd and last stage
of the School Photo Contest is behind us, including photos in
the SPRING category.
As always, and this
time you provided beautiful shots of nature awakening. 17 photos from 7 students were submitted to the third stage, and the distribution of points obtained by you can be seen in
the Photo Contest "Natural Curiosities of Sanok and the Area" section.
The great winner of the entire competition this year was
Magdalena Bochnak from class 4a, obtaining the maximum number
of 30 points for photos in all three categories!
The second place was taken by
Nikola Spędza from class 6b,
receiving 28 points for her extraordinary photographs, and
the
third place was taken exequally by Milena Żytka from class 6b
and Mateusz Pawlik from class 6a with a total score of
27 points.
Additionally, two distinctions were awarded to
Martyna
Wisłocka from class 6b and to Jakub Gnap from class 6b.
The surprise of this year's edition was a
PHOTOBOOK with
photos of our students, which was published as part of the
ERASMUS+ program implemented by our school.
The prizes were presented to the winner by the director,
Barbara Zdybek.
!!! Congratulations to the winner and all participants of the
competition for wonderful works,
which can be viewed in our gallery and I encourage you today
to participate in next year's edition - the organizer of the
competition, Mrs. Anna Fedyń !!!
