70 | Sanok's tourist
attractions on 6a-class POSTERS...
As part of the Erasmus+
project "I will show you my homeland", students from grade 6a
prepared posters presenting the most interesting tourist attractions
of Sanok and the surrounding area for the geography lesson.
The works turned out to be
very diverse, inventive and unique. The students put a lot of
work into their execution.
We
invite you to watch the presentation on active teaching
methods prepared by the teacher of Early Childhood Education -
Ms. Sabina Kurasik.
In her daily work with the youngest students, Ms. Sabina uses
many interesting methods that not only expand knowledge and
skills, but also develop interests and creativity of her
students.
On 11 November, Poland
celebrates one of the most important national holidays - National
Independence Day. On that very day, in 1918, our homeland
regained its independence after 123 years of annexation.
Every year we celebrate this day very
solemnly. This year, although we are learning remotely, we also
decided to celebrate Independence Day.
The School Band "MARAKASY" prepared
a military song from the period of World War I and the students of
various classes made posters on patriotic subjects.

64 | Class 6b museum lesson
in SKANSENA in Sanok...
On October 6, the students of class
6b together with the teacher, Mrs. Anna Fedyń and Mrs.
Sabina Silarska, went to the Museum of Folk Architecture in
Sanok.
During our visit, we had the
pleasure to participate in two museum lessons entitled "A gentleman
on the farm equal to the voivode" and "Everyday life in the Galician
market square". These classes were part of the ERASMUS+
project "I will show you my homeland".
During the first classes, the guide
introduced us in a very interesting way to the history of the
Manor House of Święcany near Jasło, which dates back to 1861. We
got to know the fate of the people living there, as well as the
unusual interior design in which they lived. After visiting the
manor, the guide led us to the hen of the hut in order to show
the prevailing huge difference in the living conditions of ordinary
people and nobility.
Another museum lesson took place in
the Galician Market Square, where we visited the buildings of
craftsmen's buildings, i. e. a pharmacy, confectionery, bakery,
photographer. We also used the opportunity to play bowling,
it was hard at times, but fun.
After visiting the open-air museum, we
went for a walk along the San valley on our way back. A bit
tired, we got to the fire waiting for us, where everyone
started baking the sausage with great enthusiasm, as it turned out,
our appetite was very good. After baking sausages together and long
talks, we returned home in joyful moods.
!!! Thank you very much
to Mrs. Natalia Wisłocka for the invitation, organization and help
during the class fire !!!

63 | "TRAIL OF SANOK’S MURALS"
- class 7B trip...
On Friday, October 9, 2020, class 7B
together with the teacher, Mrs. Agnieszka Mandzelowska and
the initiator of the project, Mrs. Gertruda Lubieniecka-Jakiel,
took a class trip as part of the ERASMUS+ project "Know the world-
know yourself". The aim of the project is to show students a
small homeland thanks to the murals of the artist Arkadiusz
Andrejkow from Sanok.
"Trail of Sanok’s murals" is a
project that shows that the artist's hobby and passion can turn into
a profession and at the same time make young people interested in
the history of the city. Everyday people associated with the
city appeared in unusual places in our city thanks to the
paintings on the walls, gates and garages. Street Art and murals
are very popular now a todays and Mr. Andrejkow graced our city and
even our school with them.
In connection with the project, a
special travel map, worksheets and a crossword were created,
which the students of class 7B filled in with great interest
and willingness. The autumn aura was favorable to walking around the
corners of Sanok and the participants were not only hungry for
knowledge. Sweet croissants from the Jadczyszyn bakery and
cookies from the cafe "U Pierza" gave strength and allowed to
finish the project. Ameeting with Mr.
Arkadiusz Andrejkow at the school will take place soon, which will
end our project.
61 | A trip to the Glass
Heritage Center in Krosno...
On October 9, students of class IIa
and IIIa participated in a trip to the Glass Heritage Center in
Krosno. The educational trip was organized under the ERASMUS
+ project "I KNOW THE WORLD - I KNOW MYSELF".
The program of the trip was very
interesting because the Glass Heritage Center is the only
facility in Poland presenting the world of glass in amodern
and attractive way. In this extraordinary museum, the
exhibits can be touched, you can observe how they are made.
Students visited glass processing and decoration workshops:
engraving, painting on glass, production of stained glass and glass
figurines. Additionally, they had the opportunity to see a
film presenting the history of the creation and smelting of glass in
the glassworks in Krosno.
In the cellars located in the western
part of the Krosno Market Square, students could see exactly what
the artistry of glass artists is.They visited interactive
rooms called "rooms of physics and experiments with glass and light",
where they learned about the properties and applications
of glass and the principle of operation of optical fibers or
kaleidoscopes.
In the main building, the guide
revealed to the students the secrets of glass production. In
the room with the smelting furnace, the children participated in
a demonstration of creating glass objects. Before their eyes,
steelworkers formed a beautiful rose out of hot glass mass.
Then everyone took part in the
workshop during which they decorated Christmas balls with paints and
glitter. The children worked with great commitment, doing their
little miracles.
Another attraction was the
individual minting of a commemorative medal made of pig iron.
At the end of their stay at the Center,
the students bought souvenirs that amazed with their beauty
and originality.
The trip will surely be remembered by
children for a long time.
