60 | Grade 5a visited the
School of Crafts in Uherce...
On Wednesday, October 7th, class 5
students, together with Ms Kamila Mika and Ms Agata
Szul, went on a trip to Uherzec Mineralne, organized
as part of the ERASMUS + project "I KNOW THE WORLD - I KNOW MYSELF.
We visited the Craft School - a place in the Bieszczady
Mountains, where we could actively participate in the workshops
dying professions.
In the school in Uherce
Mineralne dating back to the beginning of the 20th century, we
made a pot ourselves, we wrote greetings with our own hands
according to the principles of pre-war calligraphy, and we
also learned how to bake PROZIAKI in a village oven.
In each of the classes where we
were, there were applications, thanks to which we could
check our knowledge about the region, which was presented
to us in a virtual version by a resident of the village.
After the classes, we went to
the shelter, where a fire was waiting for us. We fried
sausages, played tag and ball, and then, tired but smiling,
we returned to Sanok.

59 | Online MEETING of ERASMUS + project participants...
On October 7, 2020, a meeting
of coordinators and teachers participating in the ERASMUS +
project "I know the world - I know myself" took place. It
was attended by representatives of all partner schools.
The work plan for the 2020/2021
school year was discussed.
Due to the pandemic, there
will be no visit to the Italian school, therefore it was
agreed that it would be on-line. Thanks to the use of
instant messaging, meetings of students and teachers will
take place. We will also be able to observe lessons at
the Italian school.
The Polish school will also
prepare a training course on active teaching methods.

58 | A VISIT TO THE OPEN-AIR MUSEUM IN SANOK AND WORKSHOPS "PAINTED
TAPESTRIES"...
On September 24, class 4a
students went on a trip to the SKANSEN in Sanok.
As part of the project "I SHOW
YOU MY HOMELAND", students took part in the workshop
"MAKATKI WITH A BRUSH PAINTED", creating their own small
works on fabric.
Then, together with Mrs.
Pelagia BÄ…k and Mrs. Gertruda Lubieniecka-Jakiel and the
guide, the students walked around the SKANSENA,
watching and listening to stories related to ethnic groups
living in the vicinity of Sanok (Lemkos, BojkĂłw, PogĂłrzan,
Dolinian).
We got to the Manor House from
1861, where we saw the difference between living at court and
in an ordinary cottage. We watched an exhibition of toys and
ethnic clothes.
At the end of the trip, we had a
short lesson in an old school from the 19th century,
where we learned what learning in old Poland looked like.
The whole class spent time
together in a very nice atmosphere learning new things.

57 | SECOND YEAR of ERASMUS +
program "I know the world - I know myself"...
In September, we are starting
the second stage of the Erasmus + project "I get to know the
world, I get to know myself.
In the submissive school year,
despite many difficulties related to the Covid-19 pandemic, we
managed to implement many interesting projects. There was
also a meeting of teachers from partner schools in Poland.
Unfortunately, we were unable to organize the meeting in
France. However, we believe that we will manage to meet again
in one of the schools participating in our program.
This school year, we invite you
to implement the following projects:
--- "I will show you my homeland",
--- "Christmas time in my country",
--- "Let's play math."

We invite you to a music
lesson and a performance of students from the School in
Mazara del Vallo in Italy, which together with our school
implemented the project "I'VE GOT TALENT" as part of the
ERASMUS+ program "I Know the World - I Know Me".
